I love finishing homework before my roommate wakes up
I love French toast and cream cheese with raspberries
I love finding crazy English style mens sweaters that I can belt
I love the shape of your hands and how they fit nicely in mine
I love china tea cups
I love days that are both sunny and windy, watching leaves catch the wind and light
I love waking up alone and stretching out, taking up the whole bed
I love hearing people perform slam poetry
I love a frosty pint in cute little pubs
I love seeing friends I haven't seen for a long time and feeling like nothing has changed
I love vintage scarves
I love the satisfaction I feel when my room is clean
I love when my guitar is actually in tune
I love leather: coats, boots, etc.
I love green landscapes
I love accents
I love friendly competition
I love the feeling when a plane takes off and it sounds like the luggage is falling
I love yellow
I love old keys
I love white wine and lucky strikes on stoops, good combination
I love laughing
I love the way men's rugby jerseys feel
I love inspirational quotes
I love meeting new people and immediately feeling a connection

I love not loving you, for now.

There are far too many casualties in your friendly fire so bright that dimming is inevitable is it comfortable to fall from grace? Is there space for heavy hand stitched wings? reckless, wild and beautiful setting flames to the scenes around you- you burn, burn burn I never knew implosion could be so eloquent  If they ask what defines it? Loneliness. This is the constant of the human condition. You wanted to step out of the darkness but even you faded when you flew too close to the sun. Shhh…we’ll call it transformation.

I saw a man die today. He flew head first off of his bike and into a tree. His belongings were scattered all over the road like children's toys And although he wasn't young I cant help but wonder if he belonged to someone, if he was rushing back to a house where someone was excited to see him-eagerly awaiting his arrival. I did not know his name and I imagine no one else around me did either. I saw a man die today. I think he belonged to someone.
