Author's Biography: and the "I have done nothing" complex
If you believe you can make a living as a writer you already have enough ego.-David Brin
There seems to be something fundamentally wrong with me when it comes to the idea of writing about myself in third person. On top of that, I have no idea what an unpublished author such as myself, would even begin to put in an author's biography. To ease the nerves of actually having to write a bio for my final assessment, I offer this:
Maggie Smith is an aspiring writer from Madison, Wisconsin with big ideas and an even bigger ego. When she isn't writing about what she's going to write, or staring blankly at a computer screen wishing that she had a muse as attractive and wonderful as Salma Hayek in Dogma, she can be found on the rugby pitch. In reality it is probably more likely that she will be found in her robe and pajamas eating chicken and mushroom cup noodles and dreaming about what it would be like to be a famous author. She knows that inevitably this routine will lead to fame and fortune, obviously.

I like it. Why don't you just use that in the assessment? Although, I'm not sure where Sam stands on Kevin Smith...
